Concepts

Not every design concept is a winner, but some of them deserve another chance to shine in the limelight. And sometimes, I just create templates for fun. Below are some of the concepts I'm most proud of.

AXIS Integrated Concept #2

AXIS Integrated's site needed updating. We've been in the business for over 20 years and we needed to start "looking" like the awesome work we were creating.

I wanted to keep the design simple, clean and fresh, so that we're really showcasing our body of work. We're telling the story of AXIS but more importantly, we're telling our clients' story.

AXIS Integrated Concept #1

I've been working at AXIS for a while now, and I've always hated their site (sorry!). It just didn't showcase how awesome we are. We do a ton of web and database development and our site just didn't reflect the amazing work of my collegues.

With that in mind, I strived to create a design that shows off our full-scale of work, but also lets people know we know what looks good too. It's still playful, but it's also got that corporate feel. With over 20 years under our belt we're an established company, and we should look it.

By showcasing AXIS' stories we're able to show clients that we're the complete package.

Restored Designs

These lovely ladies revive and reinvent furniture and spaces so their site needed to reflect that.

I wanted to create something that was warm and welcoming yet wasn't your typical collage-style blog site. The font really sets the tone for the site. It's fun and playful and that's contrasted with the clean lines in the design.

Sadochok

Sadochok is a site that desperately needs to be updated. I wanted to test out my "kid-style" and create something fun and user-friendly. It was also the perfect opportunity for me to play around with HTML5.

But be warned, only the first two pages work. :)

ThinkDMW — Concept #5

In 2012 DMW rebranded itself as ThinkDMW and with this new idea we wanted to create a new site. We wanted to show the lighter side of DMW, while still maintaining a crisp and clean feel. Our work needed be the star of the site.

ThinkDMW — Concept #4

In 2012 DMW rebranded itself as ThinkDMW and with this new idea we wanted to create a new site. Something fresh, something trendy.

DMW & Associates — Concept #3

I was asked to come up with a few design concepts for the new DMW site. Trying to go for a more bold approach, I kept the background simple save for the few geometric elements on the right hand side.

DMW & Associates — Concept 2

This second concept is a little more colourful. Still meant to be simple in it's design, the header and footer stand out while the content remains crisp and clean.

DMW & Associates — Concept #1

This first concept has a more corporate feel. The black and white colours create the contrast while the green buttons add an element of play.

Pillar to Post — Concept 1

Pillar to Post is one of the top North American home inspection franchises. They were looking to update their site and wanted something friendly yet professional. They host not only a corporate site, but a sales site and franchisee site. This was a mockup for their corporate site.
