McCarney Group LLP had no web presence when they came to AXIS. Upon meeting with them their directive was that they wanted a simple site that laid out the type of tax services the provide; nothing too fancy or overdone. They didn’t want to bombard their client base with unnecessary or overly complex information that would better be suited with a face-to-face conversation.
To keep the design clean, I focused on careful and precise position of important elements. I made sure there were clean lines, lots of white space, and that each section was clearly broken up into separate panels. The focus was on the content so photography was used sparingly.
Once the design was approved, I built the basic layout in HTML and CSS. This was then implemented on the Yii framework.
